5 Must-Check Dimensions

Choosing a humidor is not about whether it "looks beautiful"; it is about 5 scientific dimensions:

Dimension 1: Capacity

Industry calculation: when a humidor is labeled "capacity 50 cigars", it means "fully loaded with Robusto format" - the actual number of cigars you can store is about 70-80% of the stated capacity (air circulation space must be left).

The core function of a humidor is to "maintain a constant-humidity environment" - if it does not seal, even the best humidifier is useless.

Test 1: Lift Test

Unboxing Period: How to "Season" Your Humidor in the First Month

A newly purchased humidor cannot be used to store cigars immediately - it requires 7-14 days to "season".

Step 1: Unbox and Inspect

• Open it and ventilate thoroughly for 24 hours (to remove factory odor)
• Check the integrity of the internal Spanish Cedar

Step 2: Wipe the Lining

• Use distilled water to dampen a clean lint-free cloth
